Tense discussion in the German chat: A player has clearly been benefiting from a "bug". In this case however, it was not really a classic "bug", but rather a weakness/failure of the game mechanics and balance.

Measures like the mine performance reduction after an attack and the attack timeout exist to reduce the efficiency of "friend farming", as well as excessive attacks against other players. The problem in this case was that players could work together to attack each others' clay mines, demolish them after the attack, build new ones, and repeat this process, since the attack timeout and performance reduction would be reset. Thus it was possible for players to attack each other repeatedly from within HQ range, and get rich quickly from the loot they gained.

Since an attack timeout for newly built mines would not cause issues, I've now implemented this to prevent such exploiting. It's still possible to bypass the performance reduction, but only after 24 hours. Aside from this I've also increased the influence of the HQ on defenses, since the Mafia is still a bit too powerful anyway.

By the way, the player who used this tactic had offered to delete his account on his own.

I don't ban anyone when they misuse a balance issue or bug, since I cannot hold them accountable for using the game mechanics to their advantage. However I'd appreciate it if players could handle such balance issues and similar situations in a proper manner when they find them. You can do so by contacting support via e-mail, providing all the necessary infos and details to help mitigate or resolve the issue.

A few more words concerning cooperative gameplay.

The following options are neither bugs nor exploits, but intentional features to reward teamplay:

- "Friend farming" (attacking a friend's mines with their agreement)
- Stacking mines with fellow players by building at the same time
- Looting the same boxes together
- Cargo-rain parties ;)
- Pricing arrangements in the black market

A few words concerning attacks:

Although it's noted in the terms of use, I want to mention it here due to recent events.

Attacking other players with the Mafia is a part of the game!

Massive threats (for example seeking out a player in the real world to "teach him a lesson"...) lead to permanent exclusion from Resources!

If a player is not capable of differentiating between a game and reality, then they should not play Resources.
